The San Lorenzo Cathedral was built in the 12th century and underwent alteration work in the 16th century. It represents the town's most important religious building. The Genoese-style gothic front of the cathedral contains a central gate decorated with scenes of the life of Christ and carved with vines, sirens and lions.
